Honor Guard - Groundbreaking for Vietnam Memorial, Dedicated in May, finished by Veterans Day. Memorial Day parade - May 23. Float for our chapter.
March 8 - 4th Annual Gift for Veterans in Pawley’s Island, $1000 donation
Chaplain - Rich’s granddaughter needs prayers
New Business: State Council President - proposing ways to end VVA.
State Council meeting this Sunday. vvasc.org is state website.
Ron will get professional business cards as head of the Honor Guard.
Rick - talked on privatization of VVA.

Fundraising: Getting into Walmart fundraising is almost impossible to get into.
Old Business: VA privitization discussed again. Rick wrote a letter to Rep. Fry asking him to support the VA and not community care.
New Business: Next meeting, May 5. Military Appreciation Parade, 10:30 AM - looking to get a float for $850. Motion - Rent a float. Veteran’s Charity Golf at Heritage Golf Course this Sunday 7:30. Need 2 more Honor Guard people. $1000 check. Charles spoke on State Council meeting. Chapter address has changed as we are giving up our PO Box due to cost. Is at the bottom of our webpage.
